AJC New Jersey Regional Office
AJC New Jersey is a regional office of the national AJC organization
AJC's mission is to advance the peace and security of Israel and the Jewish people worldwide. We advance human rights and democratic values in the United States and around the globe, through diplomacy, legislative advocacy, and by building effective interreligious and interethnic coalitions. AJC focuses on five priority issues of concern: Israel's peace and security, Iran's nuclear threat, anti-Semitism, advancing immigration reform and energy security.

Holocaust Remembrance, Rouhani, the EU, Rome and the Vatican
It would have better behooved Italian leaders to escort President Rouhani to a public commemoration of the Shoah, instead of escorting him on a touristic tour of the Colosseum, as they did.
Why is France Commemorating Holocaust with Iran's President?
Perhaps President Rouhani wants to show the world that Iran has changed. We therefore propose that President Hollande invite his guest to join him in a visit to the Shoah (Holocaust) Memorial in Paris.
Countering Anti-Semitism Today
Let us make no mistake. This sense of uncertainty about a future in Europe does not bode well for either the Jewish community or for Europe itself.
